Hidden behind the mountains yet easy to access: the journey to Sölden is very pleasant thanks to the good infrastructure. Read on to learn how best to get to your holiday in the Ötztal Valley.
From the A12 motorway, take the “Ötztal” exit. Follow Ötztal Straße B186, which runs directly to Sölden. Plan your journey comfortably with Google Maps. Just click on “directions” in the window below and enter your starting point.
On arrival in Sölden, continue straight on Dorfstraße. Turn right in front of the BP petrol station onto Lärchenstraße and start heading up the mountain. Continue onto Außenwaldstraße and at the end of the road turn left on to Plörweg. The Grünerhof is at the end of Plörweg.
If you are travelling by train there are two options. Either take the train to the main train station in Innsbruck and then the bus from there to “Ötztal – Sölden”. Or take the train into the Ötztal Valley and then the bus from there to Sölden.
If you are traveling by plane, we recommend flying into Innsbruck, Zurich or Munich. From these airports you can take the train into the Ötztal Valley and then the bus from there to Sölden.
